About the Program
GP SEL is a complete genetic improvement advisory service for herds focused on registered genetics production – registered cattle. Since 1996, with recognized expertise in selection work with registered herds of various breeds, our team supports breeders in applying the best genetic improvement practices, helping make their business more profitable. Starting from an initial diagnosis of the herd to define the breeder's goal and understand the existing level of zootechnical control, a work plan is drawn up with actions that will make up a genetic improvement process to be implemented. We perform genetic evaluation of all animals on the farm, generating EPDs for numerous production and reproduction traits, essential tools for the evolution of your herd. With personalized, skilled technical advisory, selection and mating plans are developed to reach each breeder's selection goal.
